Tanya has worked in a critical care setting throughout her career; in Johannesburg, London and Brisbane. Having also trained and worked in prehospital care as a Trauma Nurse, Retrieval Nurse and Flight Nurse before emigrating from South Africa. 
Arriving in Australia she worked at the RBWH in both the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department and eventually found her passion in paediatric emergency nursing at the Royal Children’s Hospital. A decade later Tanya accepted the challenge of a project position to facilitate in building a Children’s Emergency Department in MNHHS, where she successfully executed the delivery of the Children’s Service at The Prince Charles Hospital. 
When not building homes and hospitals Tanya continues to travel the world with camera in hand, enjoying her zest for photography.
