Dr. Nandini Choudhury grew up in Malaysia and moved to Australia in 2005 after receiving a scholarship to study medicine at Monash University in Melbourne. After graduating from medical school, she worked at the Bendigo Base Hospital in regional Victoria before escaping the cold and moving to the Sunshine State.
She developed a keen interest in paediatric emergency medicine as a medical student and went on to complete her FACEM PEM training in Brisbane. She enjoys teaching and has a special interest in simulation. She has help developed Paediatric Emergency simulation programme. She is an ALS instructor and routinely teaches on ALS1 and ALS2 courses. Outside of work she enjoys keeping fit, travelling and spends far too much money on makeup. She also has a weak spot for dogs and puppies and hopes to one day own several corgis. |
