Dr David Tran

General Paediatrician

Dr David Tran is Divisional Director of Women’s and Children’s Services at Northern Health, and a General Paediatrician by trade, with a special interest in Allergy. He completed his FRACP in 2013 and underwent further training at the Royal Children’s Hospital with the Department of Allergy and Immunology between 2014-2017.

​He then joined the Allergy and Immunology team as a staff specialist doing a Food allergy clinic at RCH, having recently finishing up at RCH to focus his time at Northern Health.  
Over the past 5 years, David has established the Paediatric Allergy Clinic at Northern Health which now covers an outpatient food allergy clinic, in-hospital food challenges, drug challenges, and subcutaneous immunotherapy against environmental allergens. 
Dr David Tran is particularly interested in raising awareness around the impact of atopy to children and their families.
