Amy Gomes qualified as a Paramedic in 2010 and has since worked around QLD and volunteered internationally. She is the Director of PARA PEM, a Critical Care Paramedic and Patient Safety Specialist. Amy also has a strong interest in education, mentoring students, Palliative Care and End of Life Law. She is currently on the QAS Legacy Advisory Board, runs her small business One Little Heart and volunteers for multiple charities. She is passionate about increasing Paramedic knowledge and skills in paediatric care; an area she feels that a lot of Paramedics see as daunting and complicated. 

​Amy now resides in Brisbane with her husband, two kids and two pups.​
