Senior Operations Supervisor for the Queensland Ambulance Survive (QAS)

Alan is a Senior Operations Supervisor for the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) based in Brisbane, He commenced his emergency service career in South Africa working with the Fire and Emergency Services, moving to Australia in 1997 and commencing work with the QAS. Alan is passionate about promoting the paramedic profession in Australia, in his spare time Alan volunteers his time on the Board of Queensland Ambulance Legacy Scheme, The k J McPherson Education and Research Foundation and coordinating overseas clinical placements for Australian paramedic students.

Outside of the work environment he loves to travel, drink coffee and work in the garden.
