Dr Michael Butterfield FACEM
Michael is an emergency and retrieval physician working at Logan hospital in adult and paediatric emergency and with Lifeflight as a prehospital and retrieval consultant and clinical coordinator. He has been a FACEM since 2017 and has post graduate qualifications in prehospital and retrieval medicine and point of care ultrasound.
Michael has several years of experience in exam preparation and teaching at both local and regional levels. He is involved in fellowship exam teaching at Logan ED and is an ACEM standard setter and examiner for the Diploma of Prehospital and Retrieval Medicine.
Outside of work, he is kept occupied by his young kids, and a persistent yearning to escape Queensland for travel and the odd ski slope.
