Elliott Bates has been a Critical Care Paramedic since 2016 and a Paramedic since 2007. He has worked in multiple locations within Queensland including Brisbane, Mackay and Mount Isa as well as providing relief in remote locations such as Mornington Island. For the last three years Elliott has been appointed to flight positions in Mackay and Brisbane. Elliott is passionate about the advancement of the Paramedicine profession and has previously held committee positions for Paramedic Australasia and board position for the Australian and New Zealand College of Paramedicine prior to the formation of the Australasian College of Paramedicine. Elliott’s passion for flying started in 2002 when he commenced as a volunteer crewperson on the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter where he still volunteers today.
Elliott also teaches seasonally into undergraduate paramedic programs. |
